Night Nanny / Maternity Support
Overnight newborn care so parents can rest, usually 10pm–7am for a set number of nights each week.
About this role
Night nannies and maternity practitioners support families in the first weeks and months after a baby arrives. The work is calm, practical and deeply appreciated.
Typical responsibilities
- Settling, feeding and changing the baby overnight
- Supporting the mother with feeding routines
- Sterilising equipment and keeping the nursery tidy
- Handing over clearly each morning
What we look for
- Newborn experience — maternity practitioner or postnatal training is an advantage
- Enhanced DBS certificate and paediatric first aid
- Comfortable working independently through the night
